I have been playing Guitar for over 30 years. This Guitar plays fine and the build quality is fine. Currently this is my main played Les Paul as I have several. I play them all but I currently like this one the best. I bought the Translucent Cherry finish and am pleased with the choice.

Have nothing bad to say about this guitar. It plays beautifully and in a word…smooth. it’s fun, balanced and gorgeous all in the same breath. Best compliment, it’s a great easy guitar to play and won’t break the bank. No it’s not cheap, but if you love the Gibson Les Paul this a fantastic middle of the road price range for the Gibson high quality.

I play them all but I currently like this one the best. I bought the Translucent Cherry finish and am pleased with the choice. I have in the past always bought the traditional colored Les Paul’s and this is a nice change. You can see the wood grain but still it is a solid color. They should make a nice Blue colored one like this. Anyhow I like to play a good feeling Guitar and have fun. And would rather not pay extra for some shinny book matched gem or feel like I am playing a Guitar I am so scared I may scratch. The Cherry color Rock’s

I have owned and played so many top notch guitars from American Fender Strats to Gibson Les Pauls, so I can truly tell you that this Gibson Les Paul Classic is not only EXTREMELY WELL MADE but also SOUNDS BEAUTIFUL. The pickups are so very sensitive and smooth.

I waited a couple weeks before submitting this review. I am no pro. I’m not even good enough to deserve a Gibson Les Paul. I managed to find a way. I payed full retail price. 2 grand usa. Honey Burst was out of stock and I waited patiently for a week. Finally it was delivered.
