Looking for a suspension system that gives you more control over your classic 1965-1970 small block Mustang’s handling? Then take a look at this Total Control Products Restomod System Front Subframe Suspension Kit (TCP KS2-152) with Small Block Ford Springs from Geeky Shop Parts! This suspension kit is designed to fit Mustangs that already have Total Control Products’ Front Frame Clip installed. Perfect for a restomod build, this kit is a great upgrade over factory suspension that gives you more control over your Mustang’s handling with the QuickSet 1 shocks. Each component works together to form a great performance suspension system.

The control arms in this kit are constructed of mandrel-bent steel tubing with a black finish. The upper control arms have a 7/8 x .156” wall and the lower control arms have a 1 x .156” wall. This makes the control arms lightweight, yet still durable enough for daily performance driving. The heavy-duty balljoints feature a screw-in design, making replacement of a worn-out balljoint simple. To make installation and removal of the balljoints even simpler, a zinc-plated balljoint wrench is supplied.

High-strength sculpted ductile iron cast spindles give you excellent strength for reliable performance. With a 2” drop in ride height, these spindles provide your Mustang with a lower center of gravity and quicker camber curve that will improve your handling on curvy backroads or at the track. The spindle assembly is specially made to handle the stress from more rigorous driving conditions.

The power rack and pinion feature a steel body with a black powder coat finish, designed to fit left hand drive 1965-1970 Mustangs with power steering. This power rack consists of the steel rack body, protective dust boots on either side, rotatable low-profile banjo fittings and steel hard lines that run tightly against the rack body for a compact design. Internal gearing of the rack is supported by low-friction polymer bushings and roller bearings that give gear engagement a smoother feel increasing the longevity of the rack. OEM quality tie-rods with fixed-height pivot position are included with the kit, connecting the manual rack with the sculpted spindles.

The high-quality QuickSet Shocks have 16 settings at which both bump and rebound are adjusted simultaneously. All adjustments can be made within seconds, without removing or unbolting the shock. The adjustment knob is laser-etched with directional arrows and plus/minus symbols that clearly indicate which direction achieves the desired adjustment. Each QuickSet shock goes through extensive dyno and road testing to offer optimum performance for the street and the occasional autocross event. American-made, VariShocks are constructed of premium components where each shock performs identically throughout the entire range of travel.

Designed to pair with the VariShock QuickSet shocks is a pair of springs that are rated for your small block Ford engine. These springs have been produced from a new high-tensile wire that is far superior to other springs. These new springs can fully compress without damaging the coil which could greatly affect the ride height and handling of your Mustang. Being more flexible than normal springs, these VariSprings allow for more travel of the shock without going solid, giving you better overall traction and control.
